Merlin’s Rules

In order to keep the site running smoothly, we all have to have a set of rules. All sites have them, and all people have to follow them.

1. R-E-S-P-E-C-T. You have to show all members, guests, staff, and everyone else on the site the same respect you’d show anyone else. Don’t pick stupid fights just because you’re the bad-ass, not gonna listen, hells angel, ride or die type in reality. It’s not nice, and won’t be tolerated. You might not know this, but us admin’s have some serious attitudes. And JC happens to be ban happy.

2. No cannons. Our schools are set far away from jolly old London, which means there are no Weasleys, Lestranges, Potters, or anyone else. The time frame is set to the same years as in current, 2008. if we see it, you change it.

3. No relations to Cannons. We allow the last names, or even the first names, but not together. We prefer if you don’t use cannon names, and be rather unique with your character.

4. A Real Name. You need to have a name that different from everyone else’s right? You can’t leave your display name as your login name, (such as: jossx4xlyfe) you need a real one. If you need help with a name, ask your fellow role-players, or even an admin. I’ll list some places where you can check out some nice names below.

5. Role-playing. This must be in third person and past tense POV (point of view). When you’re posting, try to have not only good grammar, but also spelling, and punctuation. As I’ve said, we are going to keep this a very literate RPG forum. If you must, please use the Role-play school, because you can only get help when you accept the fact that you need it.

6. No vulgarities or Sexual implications. Like most people, we are going to keep the site PG-13. Few words of the cursing language are acceptable, but sex is not.

7. No Racial and religious comments. We accept everyone’s religion, and everyone’s color/heritage and orientations with the utmost kindness here at Merlin’s. This is a homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, lesbian (call it like it is right?) friendly site and we do not judge people for what they are or who they are, or they’re personal background. If we see it, you will be banned and never allowed back on Merlin’s again. Ever. We don’t want to be the cause of people feeling bad for who or what they are. We don’t even allow it from the students. Now everyday life things, like picking on each other, that’s fine as long as it’s not taken to far (we don’t allow suicides either so to clear that up now). We allow hetero-bi-homosexual/lesbian students or teachers as well. If you can’t follow this specific rule especially, then we’ll ban you. the password to the application board is ‘blyssneveah’

8. We ask that you please abide by the 13+ rule for registering on ProBoards. We and you both can get into trouble if you are under 13.

9. Stealing. No graphics or work on this site is complete without credits, right? So we ask that whatever you make, or create, or write, put some credits in it, that way someone else can’t steal it. People go around taking what’s not credited from another site, and put it on theirs, then go back and say that you stole it. IF someone wishes to use your work, then that’s up to you. IF someone wishes to use our work, then they take it up with us.

10. Signatures. They are to be no bigger than 564x331. You’ll be asked to take it down if it’s too big, but if it’s not gone within 3-7 days, we’ll take it down for you.

11. Fun! Fun! Fun! The most important part of a site is to have fun here! The rules are made so that we can all know what to do and what not to do, but we still want you to have as much fun as you can!

12. Advertising & Affiliating. Bring your family, friends, school members, and whoever else you want to the site, because we love new members, and lots of activity. The Advertise and Affiliate board is always open, and is guest friendly, so feel free as long as you follow the rules.

Even though the site is not complete, it is ready to see some fresh faces so join up! -Merlin's Staff The Plot(s) Academy As we all know, Briton Legend states that ‘Arthur will return when Britain again needs him to subdue the nation’s enemies and to bring peace and security to the land.’ Well, we Briton’s must stay true to such things right? And we will. This year, we’ll all be visiting Avalon, and getting a slight feel of what it was like back in Arthur’s time, and each student will have a chance to see what it was like to be inside his shoes. We’ll also be visiting spots said to have been landmarks of Arthur’s time. They find that after following a group of hard-headed children into the mysterious tunnel they discover, they have come into much more than just a school field trip. If you want to be part of the group to wander off, then PM Blyss. University Yesterday is over. tomorrow is coming. and finally we can leave behind all our Limited Too and mary-janes. in exchange, we'll trade them for white or blue long sleeves, ties, plaid uniforms, with blazers and silk knee highs. we are no longer those silly, over-excited 'I'm-grown-now' high school kids who chat all day and chew too much gum. we are going into college. We are going to: Merlin's University. We are now going into the world of lies, deceit, treachery, and games, to adulthood. .. We are making gossip, secrets, enemies and friends. We are making a legacy. House Points Arthur: 000 Lancelot: 000 Merlin: 000 le Fay: 000	Round Table News Make sure your parents have signed the form and sent in the correct amount of 6 galleons, 4 sickles and 23 knuts (30 US dollars) for going to Trip Avalon.-Blyss According to the Round Table Paper, celebrated Auror Defense League leader Madam Nevens Gold has just passed away. May she always watch over us and our prayers be with her and her succeeding family. She leaves behind two daughters and three sons, as well as one husband. On a happier note, RTP has just announced that there will be a confections factory opening up in Carlisle, England this coming fall, which means more snacks, more jobs, and also, a great place to hang. Not only that, but Mr. Neveah, father of Blyss Neveah and actor Brian Ritch, has just announced that he will be getting married (yet again) for the third time next summer, to actress Maya Graves. May they have a wonderful life together (and hopefully, everlasting).
